Hey ... the first one was a super hit , lets try it again but add a regenerated woman... what could ever go wrong?

These movies based on chapters of H.P. Lovecraft's book "Herbert West Reanimator" are meant to be super weird and unsettling. Although these movies are very LOOSELY based.

This one starts out full of action during a civil war in Peru where the doctor is continuing experiments on unsuspecting fallen soldiers.... until the make shift tent is taken over by rebels and he barely gets out alive grabbing what notes he can before it all goes up in flames.

I personally like this one better than the first. Its a great popcorn flick and a perfect example of the early 90's horror zaniness. At times you wonder if they meant for it to be funny but then you realize...nope.  I love it when they make movies like that. Today's movies are lacking that somehow.
